I should explain

I have MCS (multiple chemical sensitivity). Alot of smells that normal people like I get sick from, perfumes, paint, magic markers, cleaners, etc.

I was referring to the smell of whatever is in the pad. It doens't smell bad, but I don't want to take the chance of getting sick from it.

According to my very limited understanding, in your hands, feet, and ears are all the beginnings and ends of the accupuncture meridians. Also, according to reflexology, on your hands and feet are areas where you can treat various organs and parts of your body. I looked up the feet and the bottom of the feet has organs like the liver, kidney, stomach, intestine and spleen which would be important for detox. I was wondering if that is the reason most people put it on the feet. Tweet
