Hi. I was on accutane about 9 years ago. I have severe cystic Acne vulgaris. Sometimes I can have completely clear skin and other times I can have one to 5 Acne cysts somewhere on my face, back or head. The accutane did help my skin for about a year. Not completely, but much improvement. But after that my skin still broke out. Now it seems to break out worse than ever. Right now I actually have a huge cyst the size of a nickel on my chin. I don't even want to leave the house. I know you know the side effects, but also know that it does not cure. Its expensive and you need to get your blood tested every few weeks. I would never go on it again knowing that I will still break out after only a year or so. You're truely doing a lot of damage to your system with that drug. I know how bad it can be. Trust me.
