My son is currently only taking 4 units of insulin a day ...since Sept 8th 2006 ... started at 26 units a day down to 4 units ..today i am testing his pancreas ..no insulin just the herbs and diet to see how he does ..i think it takes a little time for the pancreas to kick in and start producing once you have already started using fake insulin..
