It's not DEMODECTIC mange, these are rodent mites.

I have also tried DE. It sucked too. All it did was get in the air and all it did was make my cats sneeze and wheeze, made my dog cough who is prone to chronic bronchitis and it gave me sinus headaches. :/

Most of the animals groom it of them anyway.
