Re: Hum, I've had a gun for years and never used it around the house like that...

My thoughts are the govt/big business , thru the media are exployting these school shootings etc to scare , mothers and the elderly , to limit gun ownership....therefore they would have a mindless/powerless workforce to increase their wealth. If some decided to stand up to the opression , they would only have a 3 shot deer rifle to stand against the govt controled malitia , who would be carring automatic weapons with 100 rounds or more fire power......WWII veterans and elderly should THINK back to Hitler and his control of guns made an easy take over of germany/russia and eventually most of Europe.........the problem seems to be the responsible control BY parents , why weren't these guns locked in a safe , where were the teachers (coffee in the teachers lounge), when the kid walked into school with a rifle that is approx 3ft long carried by a 4ft to 5ft tall kid , that would be hard to carry around without being noticed (long overcoat on a hot day?), where were the other kids , why didn't someone run to report suspicious activety , where are the follow up media coverage of these kids going to a correctional facility , or other detention so that kids that view this know that there would be consiquences for there actions....where is the punishment to parents for Not securing these guns etc , there are more people killed by knives and baseball bats in demestic disputes , then guns have killed.....are we going to outlaw baseball bats?......people need to THINK past the emotional aspect and look at the total picture...........Guns don't kill people , people do......control and punish the stupid people......that way the rights of honest , responsible , THINKING people are not taken away because of a few ,stupid , to busy to pay attention to there children , adults. I see more and more of the emotional response to these things , and the religous response , " could you take a life"......my answer is "Hell yes , to protect my family and property" ......they need to read the Bible more......there are verses that preach/teach to punish or banish from the earth(which includes death) those that act against the tribe......if they can't possibly kill someone.....then they can sit and pray for someone to come save them (with a GUN) from thier enslavement...........
People need to deal with it , get over the emotional response.......THINK!!!......if mad cow breaks out , no meat (scrappie in goats and sheep , cronic wasting in deer , murcury in fish , new castle diesease in turkey and chickens.........you'll need a rifle to hunt squirrel , pheasent etc , unless you go totally vegan......but if you live in the city , how're you going to grow veggies , pick fruits and berries......."THINK!!!!".......if we go to war on our own soil , terrorists or maybe north korea now.......how will you protect yourself and your family.......or will you just wait and PRAY , for somebody to come save your stupid ass..............
