Re: update 10/10/2006
What I am trying actually has nothing with taste. I am changing the cooking because I think the brown rice, especially when left in the fidge for a while, might've been too hard for my colon, so I boil them instead of steam or microwave them. Steaming doesn't make it softer, while boiling and simmering do. Added olive oil to fry is because first I do believe that my body needs good cholestrol and fat, the food will get less iritative cooled with oil, smooth the veggies down. And eating a piece of cake based on the thought that maybe people reacts to suger differently. my colon might need some suger to help form the stool. I had a cake the first time and see an immediate improvement the next morning. It might NOT work for anyone else. But as long as I see positive on me, it works for me.
I was on a strict diet with the Sheldon recipe since July. I stopped the enema procedure for a couple of weeks in the middel, but I didn't stopped the diet. Even when I was traveling, I eat strictly the veggie diet from the recipe. I bought the raw veggies from the supermarket, and spent the night in the hotel to prepare them for cooking the next day. So, I am serious about this. I can tell it helped me, but I don't see expected results that it claims to scheduled to happen. I am still serious about this. I am discouraged by my personal experience to the method, and hopes everyone else could reacts better and get cured of this method. But I am posting to let people know the fact that some people might react the same way to the method as I did, even you are strictly following the recipe, only to find out that it might not help that much. So, be intelligent about this.
