Re: Can anything improve Memory? Help!

Yep, there's an herb that's GREAT for memory...ginko biloba!

This forumula seems to be extremely effective because of the addition of cayenne...which increases circulation and pushes the ginko right to the brain where it's needed!

//www.curezone.org/schulze/handbook/brain.asp

I've copied/pasted that information below my sign off.

Maybe there's other good herbs for memory...but ginko's the only one I can think of at the moment.

The other things that are SO important for brain function is Fish Oil and OXYGEN! I was blown away by how much my Depression lessened and my memory/thought strengthened when I started supplementing with Fish Oil. So, if I were you, I'd definitely get some Fish Oil, take that, measure the effect, and then get some of Schulze's formula if you don't get the improvement you want. (Note: I'm a "one thing at a time" person...because I want to know exactly what's doing what in my body, and what is most effective -- or non-effective. And of course, that can't be determined when you take two or more things at once). But hey, whatever works best for YOU!

Oxygen to the brain - aerobic exercise! Even 3 minutes at a time a few times a day will make a world of difference :) And of course, good strong 'flow' throughout ALL the organs, especially the liver. So if you haven't done a series of Liver Flushes or colon cleanses, that's DEFINITELY where you want to start.

Yes, a lack of protein can affect the brain...but we humans only need 100 grams of protein daily (that's less than 1/4 of a pound), so it's not usually the first place to 'look' when trying to determine what may be causing memory issues. I'm seriously 'into' sprouting, and I get all the protein I need from my wonderfully 'alive' sprouts (not to mention the energy and other incredible amounts of nutrients). And it's easy AND cheap to grow sprouts! YAY!!! If you'd like to check out which have the most protein (and other nutritional values) here's a great site: http://www.easygreen.com/articles/nutritional_data.php#table14

Most people just 'dabble' in eating sprouts, we eat LOTS of 'em. Our "favoritest" way to eat several cups of sprouts a day? Take an organic large soft tortilla, and fill it with chopped veggies and a cup (or more) of two-three different kinds of fresh sprouts, then douse it with a healthy dressing of your choice (or salsa!), and roll that 'sprout burrito' up real tight, and munch away...mmmm, mmm, terrific! You'd think you won't be able to get it to roll up cause it looks like WAY too many sprouts, but there's so much air in between the sprouts that it 'shrinks' when you start rolling it all into a 'burrito'.

'Sounds to me like you're doing GREAT things for yourself - keep up the good work!

Blessings,

Unyquity

Brain Formula
Formulae:

Ginkgo leaf, Rosemary flowers, & Cayenne peppers.
Therapeutic Action:

Although used for thousands of years, Ginkgo Biloba is now famous worldwide for its ability to increase brain circulation and help with the associated diseases. Ginkgo has been proven effective for Depression and other emotional problems. Recent medical discoveries have proven that Depression and many mental disorders are rooted in poor brains circulation. The cells of the brain are not nourished and their waste is not being removed, causing congestion, toxemia and poor brain function. Ginkgo has been found helpful for hearing and eyesight problems. Ginkgo has also been proven effective for tinitis (ringing in the ear), vertigo (balance problems and dizziness), deafness and other inner ear problems. Ginkgo is also famous for increasing memory and has been used effectively with Alzheimer's Disease. Many people using Ginkgo have experienced miraculous results with eyesight problems. For even more powerful results, use in conjunction with my Eyebright Formula.

Rosemary, and Cayenne also promote blood and oxygen circulation to the brain. This can be effective for anyone who has suffered a stroke or to prevent one.
Dosage:

1-2 dropperfuls (35-70 drops) 3-4 times daily.
