Day 3
Sheldon,
I took your advice on trying to sleep in a recliner, I think it may have helped but I still cannot get a full night's sleep, bowel movements were reduced, but I had few painful ones during the night, very gasy, and not formed at all. I try to eat what I can but it doesn't seem to be enough and I do not want to over eat for the fear of upsetting my colon, I keep losing weight and I am just hoping that it will cease.
Last night for dinner I had a bowl of brown rice with a few chicken strips thrown in for protein. I didn't think I could hold down any veggies at the time so I skipped it for that meal.
Thank you aaron for the advice on the veggies I will give it a shot. I am eating pretty much the same veggies you are except for the yam and celery. I love your idea about cutting them into cubes and slices that must make them a lot easier to digest.
Sheldon,
How long before bed should I eat? Last night I basically ate and went to bed which was probably not a good idea to eat so late in the night.
Also I have been giving some thought on my vitamin E. It comes in liquid form and has all the same ingredients you said to use gamma, delta tocepherols, etc. it already comes packed with a squeezer tube, that resembles and enema, I was thinking I could just use that from the bottle... just pure vitamin E, instead of mixing it with water, I would measure it correctly for each time I used it. I thought it would be easier for my situation since it is very difficult for me to lay down for a long period of time now, as I found out yesterday it is extremely difficult to use the enema normally, so I figure this would be a quicker way to get it in than the syringe. I find the syringe is a little rough and I feel like I am pushing nothing but air into the colon which is upsetting it. Let me know your thoughts please. Thank you both
Kyel
