Re: Curezone is a place for compassion and gentleness.
What am I doing here?
You have done everything that you accuse me of, you just
Sugar coateded it.
You're judging me, and
Sugar coating it like #68452 specifically asked to avoid in this thread. He does not want you as a hero to save him from feeling "uncomfortable" as you put it - he's an 18 year old man who requested opinions on the matter. He stated specifically that he did NOT want a cheerleading squad yet you insist on doing just that - in fact you are policing this thread to enforce a level of warm fuzzies that he specifically wanted to avoid because it has not helped him. Read his post again, especially this part:
"""""P.S I would like to apologize for my spelling errors and thanks for the replies and be honest, dont
Sugar coat it like the last reply(if I get some seing no one posted here for 18 days)""""" -#68452
Then read my post again while you're at it, because you managed to miss most of it.
Sorry if my bluntness offends you, but I didn't write my post for you. I have been in #68452's shoes and therefore can relate to his situation. I grew up with sugar coatedness like you use and it can really screw up a life. I wish I grew up with people telling me what I needed to hear instead of what I wanted to hear - why do you think my reply to him was so long? It came from experience and wasn't just a passing thought condescending ego boost for myself as you put it. Sugar coating feels good for a few moments but sabotages one's future.
So, I'll counter with this... what right do you have to police this thread to enforce sugar coating and to censor real life experiences and opinions? Especially when it goes against the original poster's specific request? Do you want to help the #68452 or just make him feel good? Do you even know the difference?
