Re: Life worth living?

my advice is to get out! get away!! go far and fly free, start over in a new town, with a new persona. go to college somewhere far away, leave behind the utter hopelessness and the despair and start figuring out what you really want to do. force yourself to do something where you have to interact with other people, doesn't matter what it is, just do it. join some club or some group that meets regularly. they have this thing called "the hoofers club" at the university in my town. they meet regularly and do things like kayaking and rock climbing and things like that. find something like that that interests you and join.

stop insisting that life is a piece of crap not worth living, begin to take the steps towards improving your life and your life will improve.

try this - make a short list of some things you want. could be very simple, like a good car, a friend, a hobby i enjoy, whatever. then begin taking small steps toward making those things a reality. doesn't matter how small, just a step, then another, then another. soon things will actually improve, watch i guarantee it, they really will.

but really do get out of that town and even that state, shake the dust off your feet, and take a deep deep breath and find somewhere where people don't know you and you can start out new and fresh. the world is a lot bigger and more adventurous and life is so much more worth living than you realize right now, but you can begin to embrace life if you choose.
