Re: swollen ankle and knee!
Do not take my word for anything ! Your husband's condition may not be lymphoedema, but.....
I wish I could know your name..it would be so much better than 'concerned wife'!!
What I REALLY want you to do and you do not say you have done it yet is to find the Lymphoedema site that I have told you about. They will almost certainly be able to assist you with your diagnosis etc. It is a very very good site. Please tell me when you have done this. I know all about having a husband who is a computer buff and I had to have some pretty severe words to my version before he would get a proper amount of exercise during the day (he works from home). But we got there in the end.
Would you please try our email again? Thank you.And you must do that massage...it is essential and very effective. When in the prone position the leg must be raised with cushions or pillows... and when sleeping too.Any computer buffs must not abuse their bodies. Learn from one who knows! Stand up and do any little sorts of exercises every 45 mins..even less with these swelling problems. You haven't answered some of my questions.Does your beloved go around barefoot..especially out of doors? It is very very easy to pick up an infection like that.
No, you are not taking up my time. If I can help anyone, no matter who they are and where they live, then it is my duty to do so, as it surely is for everyone. Please reply to everything I have written in this message as soon as you can. I cannot stress enough for you to go to the Lymphoedema site. There is so much assistance and advice available there. Hope to hear from you soon. When writing to our email it is essential for you not to use any capital letters. God Bless and I am waiting to hear from you soon.
