Can you offer some direction?

How lovely that you have this forum. And lovelier still that I happened upon it. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us!

I have had a sense of positive portent for a while. As though some BIG changes are in the works. My life is pretty wonderful in 99% of its aspects. Healthy, happy, bright with lots of God given gifts. My one 'off' area is career. I've had a dream to do 'something' since I went to school for it in 1992. A competitive field with no advertised jobs. I am stymied about how to move forward, or how to sell myself (have no problem selling other people's skills or selling anything else...I just don't know how to sell ME without sounding ineffective or on the other end of the spectrum: cocky.

Ideas?
