I was always run down as a child and seemed to need alot of sleep and still do. I am always fatigued. I have had all the blood tests done and nothing turned up. Now that I am in my early 40's I wake up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and can't get back to a decent sleep state except maybe for that one hour or 1/2 hour before the alarm goes off. What recommendations does anyone have for getting to a deep restful sleep state.
Also, I am now exercising before I get ready for work. About 1/2 hour of walking two miles and quarter mile of it is running. I have been doing this for two months, but the energy level that I thought would kick in is not there and I am very tired at work--all day and I am unable to focus on my job due to the fatique from working out.
I need help. The fatique has been going on for years and really affect my lifestyle. Do I need to see a specialist? I dont' want to have to go on any drug medications.
