You are not stupid. Please don't think that way.

And you are also not being punished for having an abortion. Many, many women go on to have succesful pregnancies after having abortions. Don't give up hope!

I would think that after having severe health problems your body is probably still in a healing process. It takes time, and you are still young, getting pregnant may still happen.

What were you using for birth control? Sometimes it takes awhile for our bodies to become fertile after using birth control pills or shots.

Keep in mind that asking your physician or OB/GYN for a referral because of Post Abortion Syndrome may yield some unwanted answers. He/She may want to medicate you. Which you don't want to do when you are trying to get pregnant. And, He/She may not even recognize that Post Abortion Syndrome is real and that many women suffer silently from the pain.
