dog with lymphoma

Hi MH,

What can be done for a dog with lymphoma? She just had an emergency splenectomy due to an abscess (alpha hemolytic strep, and they found lymphoma in the liver and spleen. I am afraid to fast her, since she has lost too much weight already, even before the surgery. Are there any herbs I should try? She is a spayed female, 11 years old, who was adopted from a shelter.

I have her on a natural raw diet. Her appetite is good.
