Maybe Yeast???

Im a little freaked out!!! I started having vaginal itching 3 nights ago. I went to the doctor the next day and they took a wet sample and gave me a perscription for Diflucan. I took it 2 nights ago and the itching has subsided but my vulva is irritated. It is OK when im just sitting around and doesn't hurt if urine gets on it. But it is painful to wipe and even touching any part of my vulva hurts. There are no open sores but I keep freaking out that it might be some disease. My test results came back and they showed no yeast??!!!??? My doctor said that some times that can happen but it could still be a yeast infection. Its my first "yeast infection" so i dont know if this type of irratation is normal. Is it????????????? HELP Tweet
