I have a theory that Antibiotics just drive the pathogen deeper into our bodies thus one may develop your type of problem...the so called disease cannot be detected but there is somekind of left behind or exacerbated condition.

I, too, have used massive doses of Antibiotics when I was younger which left me with some problems that took on more of a fleeting or latent disease. My recovery came from the type of cleansing supported on this site. The probiotics were wonderful. Make sure you buy one with a multitude of strains. I had a recurring bladder infection and pain during sex that actually lasted a year. I think it happened becasue of all the Antibiotics as a child. What did doctors do...put me on more antiobiotics. So the year long bladder infection stood up through three rounds of antiobiotics. One day I used homepathic remedy thorn apple and three days later it was gone...I have never had one since which is great because I was plagued with these all my life.

The other two things have done is smear white plain yogurt in and around the opening of the vagina..this has a cooling effect and allows for absorption of good bacteria. Also I have taken a clove of garlic and inserted it which releases strong antifungal,bacteria and supports the good stuff...sorry this has gotten so long...good luck
