What are probiotics? I am curious because you mention their ability to enhance your post-fast metabolism. I recently completed a 32 day juice fast at the beginning of this year. I lost 26 wonderful pounds but within three months, I have put all but 5 pounds back on. I take all the blame as I have not exercised consistently like I originally intended to. I plan on starting another 30 day juice fast tomorrow but am wondering about metabolism and the damage that is done on extended fasts.
