I am no expert on the subject and haven't found as
much information on the subject as I would like to.
From what I have read, tho, Bragg or Fuhrman or both
incorporate 24-36 hour fasting in their lifestyle.
Supposedly, ketosis begins after several days (2-3)
of fasting and metabolism slowdown occurs after 36+
hours. So, on EOD, no ketosis or metabolism slowdown
should occur. Eat nutritiously on your eating days,
and the weight should come off. Say 3-4 lbs. a week
as a general estimate. If anyone knows any different,
feel free to correct me, but this is what I have read
and am going by. I fast 36 hours from Sunday supper
to Tuesday breakfast and seem to lose a pound or more
doing that. I try to eat healthy the other days.
