i don't see the problem with substituting
the good thing is ~ you're changing the way people think of animals as being a food, while turning people onto a whole new way of seeing things~ for example - the other day i bought the buffalo chik'n wings by gardenburger ~ the guy at the register asked me "are theez things any good" ~ i told him yes, most people are surprised by how good they are and the best thing is they're not made with chicken ~ he said, i'm gonna have to give them a try ~ the point is the world needs to change their eating habits, in a major way and it's not going to happen by vegans or vegetarians ignoring or being rude to the meat eaters ~ they are people like us, just uneducated in the ways of the vegetarian ~ a light needs to be turned on ~ a spark even ~ i believe the pop. rate of vegetarians in the world will grow over time and eventually we’ll all be vegetarian ~ though most certainly not in my life-time ~ and i’m happy with that because it’s an unselfish way to be ~ if you are concerned with the future of humankind you will see the benefit of meat substitutes.
