You are so right about the processed and junk foods. I try to purchase healthy snacks from the whole foods market that resemble junk food. So far, I've discovered that my son can tolerate oat and corn products very well. He does fine as long as they don't contain too much fat. I once had a momentary lapse of sanity and allowed him to have corn chips. The results wheren't horrible, but I definitely noticed a reduction in stool form because of the excess fat. The only thing that seems to give my son bad stool form is wheat flour. It's funny, he's been tested for wheat allergy but the result was negative. Any product containing wheat flour, whole or otherwise, produces a liquid stool every time. I've also noticed that stool form is reduced when not enough vegetables are eaten daily.

This treatment you've shared with us is really a Godsend. I can't imagine where my son would be right now if I hadn't found this info when I did!

Thanks again for everything Sheldon! I'll let you know what the results of the stool test are, and will continue to update as often as I can.
