Re: Has anyone cured their rosacea through a liver/colon cleanse?

Hi, Jen. The unda remedies contain several different homeopathics. unda 16 appears to be more for the lungs (which my homeopath said needed some attention, though I'd not had trouble with them to my knowledge). unda 270 is the one that seems targeted toward the skin. It has 4x of each of the following remedies: calendula officinalis, dulcamara, equisteum arvense, and hypericum perforatum. On the box, it says, "For the relief of symptoms associated with eczema and psoriasis," but the doctor's assistant told me to ignore what was printed on the boxes.

I am still seeing improvement, as long as I stick with the Body Ecology Diet guidelines, which I admit are rather stringent! I had some popcorn at the movies last week (popcorn is allowed on the diet, but only under certain guidelines, which the theater certainly didn't follow!), and my skin was horrid for a few days subsequently.

I'm increasingly convinced that the colonics and Liver Flushes are the key, and I'm eager to get started with those. (I can't believe I said that, LOL!)

I do have Dr. Nase's book, and I often check in to the Yahoo Rosacea Support Group that he's active on. The people in that group have some good recommendations for pre-laser strategies that increase the effectiveness of the treatments. I do think that the long-term solution is through internal cleansing, but I can totally sympathize with the desire for topical correction, especially when your career is dependent on your face!

I've been doing some Network chiropractic work to help the whole healing process, and the practitioners there have been helping me find the emotional strength to "let go" of the rosacea. I am really feeling ready to be rid of it, so I'm determined to keep plugging (or unplugging, as the case may be) away at it.

I'll keep you posted on my progress, and I hope to hear from you as you work through it, too. We will beat this. It's only "incurable and progressive" if we give in to those notions, and I don't think either of us intends to do that.

Best wishes to you!!!!
