Re: Has anyone cured their rosacea through a liver/colon cleanse?
Hi! I've been dealing with rosacea for several years now and recently found a practitioner who's helping me. I had tried various cleanses, with varying success rates. The liver cleanse seemed to be the most helpful, and I still think the rosacea will trace back to the liver, BUT my practitioner told me that I was trying to go too quickly -- "out of order," so to speak. I first needed to go on homeopathics to address some of the underlying problems lying in my cells, then begin to address the colon, then the liver.
The homeopathics are always very personal, of course, so what I'm using wouldn't necessarily work for anyone else, but the brand is "unda," made in Belgium. I'm taking unda 270 and unda 16 right now and will begin new remedies mid-month (after a month and a half of these two), then switch again later.
He has me on the Body Ecology Diet, which is a candida cleansing diet. The author emphasizes the need for lots of patience in clearing candida (which you need to do before you cleanse your liver!), as it can take months or even years. I think, though, in combination with homeopathics that can go faster. I can already tell my body is changing. My face doesn't look much different during a normal day yet, but I can tell a huge difference first thing every morning. The redness is receding dramatically. It's as if the symptoms are slowly reversing.
That's a very long answer, I know, and I'm sorry it's not a lot simpler (for both our sakes!), but that's what I've found. I eat vegetables galore now and I spend a lot of time making food, but I know the rosacea is my body's way of trying to tell me something, and I'm determined to find out and give it what it needs.
I wish you all the best with your skin and career!
