New to this forum. I am over 40 and used to be at a great weight until I tried Atkins. I know I did it to myself, but I was on and off that WOE. Not only did that up my weight by 20 lbs, but it also raised my all my blood cholesterol, trig. etc etc. very high(which used to be perfect)! I also yo-yo'd quite a bit on other 'diets'.
I was placed on medication for this in addition to other meds for heart. I ended up taking myself off of them because it caused so much depression, foggy thinking and other side effects that I simply could not handle.
The side effects, thankfully, are going away and I am feeling like myself again! (I was a mess!)
I want to lose 20 and perhaps 30 lbs. What diet, fasting or WOE have you found to be the best?
