Re: 55% Divorce rate,75% divorce rate for second marriages

Maybe people have always been just as incompatible after so many years of being together, but today people are smart enough to make changes to make themselves happy. Maybe today people just refuse to live the rest of their lives being miserable staying married because they were forced to stay together because the church said to stay married, or society claimed divorcees to be damaged goods, or the worst excuse - staying married for the children, and having those children grow up in a bad environment where they have unhappy parents and a false environment and staged family structure. Relationships change, people change.

Would you blame a woman because she was "sick" - malnourished and parasitic, and was left by her husband because of it? What if the wife wasn't providing enough sex for the man? Heck, technology today provides enough p 0 r no on the internet to make a wife obsolete... right? Just like men no longer are relied on for heating the house or cranking-starting the car?

Blaming men for nearly all divorces is just not fair. Women today now have nearly all of the opportunities as men, but you then imply that women share no responsibility for the marriage's success? All the benefits but none of the responsibility? Maybe men look malnourished because they are working their asses off to provide for their families. And when they don't "cherish" the wife (you mean worship?) enough, the wife is cheered on to leave him, take his house (like precis above) and wipe him out financially. Meanwhile if a man leaves his wife for the same reasoning, he is labeled a jerk and the wife a victim. Equal opportunity or only equal when convenient? I think there are just as many "screwed up" women out there than there are men. It's just more politically correct to blame the man. Women can be brutal just as much as men, they just have a different way of doing it.

Do you have a reference for the "99% of all violent crime according to the dept of justice is committed by males against females"?
