Re: Best Olive Oil for flush??

I am replying to your thoughts on olive oil. first and foremost there is no such thing as extra virgin-extra light olive oil. And no self-respecting oil producer would ever label anything as such. All extra light refers to is the color and flavor of the oil. If you want a light organic oil with little to no flavor try a organic soybean or canola oil. These oils have little to no flavor or color.
It has long been known that extra virgin olive oil is one of the healthyist things a person can ingest. Look at the southern Italians who for centuries have used extra virgin olive oil, and have one of the lowest rates of cancer, heart disease, liver disease,(even though they drink like fish. Trust me I know I spent two weeks working in restaurants in Italy)!! Finally I do not think that that any oil producer would do any detriment to his oil, Just to make a couple extra bucks. Their foods are steeped in family traditions. Unless some greedy foreigner got ahold of the company. By the way I happened accross this article while I was looking for Oil for a holistic healing center. Best regards,
Chef Andrew
