Re: John Collison
Sure.
When I had gallstone attacks last year, before I even knew what a
Liver Flush was, I found stones (one at a time, usually) in my excrement -- obvious, blatant stones, in excess of 1
cm in diameter. Having flat sides, they were somewhat "regular" in appearance (not spherical, but with "polygons", so to speak, but hardly perfect).
Since I started doing flushes, I was a bit disappointed with my first two flushes, since I never saw such a stone. I did find small ones (shaped and sized like Tic-Tacs and peas), and green globs (like peas), but never the larger ones.
My third flush, however, produced a few of the larger variety. There is no mistaking these for the smaller ones from the previous two flushes -- they are much larger. I did not notice any particular pain during this third flush.
My wife, on her second flush, passed around forty stones (her estimate -- we're not being anal about it *giggle*, so we don't get a precise count). On her third flush, she passed somewhere in the vicinity of 250. She hasn't seen any large gall stones.
I haven't done any laboratory testing. I'm basing my opinion on my very, admittedly biased view of what I and my wife see and have seen.
