Epsom Salts Necessary??

Is it absolutely necessary to take the Epsom Salts before drinking the GF Juice + Olive Oil?
Ive heard of people not taking anything,and still getting results.

I find that drinking the epsoms salts, and even doing an apple juice fast, is really hard on my colon. I`ll have a pain in my colon for about a week.
