I am assuming that you are using a copper bracelet for it's medicinal benefits. If this is so, the bracelet that you want should be pure copper, or as pure as you can get, which is 99 per cent.
I do not know the answer to the your questions. I did find the company that makes your bracelet. It does not tell if their copper bracelets are pure or not. Even if they are making any from pure copper now, that is no gaurantee that they did that 20 years ago. Maybe you can contact them for more information about the specific bracelet you purchased from them ?
I would only wear any kind of plated metals for a very brief period of a few hours, not knowing what is in them and all things can be absorbed by the skin.
