Mirena IUD

I had the IUD inserted last December and after 2 weeks of bleeding everything went well, my periods became lighter and then I had no periods in June and July. In August I began to experience extreme breast tenderness and some enlargement. My periods have returned and I now have at least 2 a month. My breasts are still enlarged and sore. Has anyone else experienced this side effect? I even did a pregnancy test as I was worried about an ectopic pregnancy but it was negative.
