Owl, you are my new hero. Anyone that is happy just to smell BBQ and not eat it is stronger than I am. Actually, the first night I was on the fast, I was offered some BBQ, and I used every adversion therapy trick I could think of to avoid taking a bite. It worked, but these folks weren't real clean and it was pretty easy to get "grossed out", I don't think I would have made it with family though. Good Luck.
Adversion Therapy does help overcome some urges to eat; just think of the food and those who prepared it in the nastiest, dirtiest, most unpleasent way you can.
Glad my SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) experiences made your experience a little easier. ;-)
