I am anxiously awaiting laboratory test results of my liver panel, cholesterol counts and the such I had last week. I was on lipitor or other statin meds since 1990 for type 4 hyperlipidemia. It is a genetic trait in my family and I have had total cholesterol counts over 425, TG in the >650 range without medications. With meds my T. Chol. is 225-250, TG still runs 400+. I will post results when I get them. It would be great to see improvements in my numbers since I quit the lipitor in June due to liver pain and nausea. (I didn't think it was prudent to continue a medication like that with RUQ pain and all.) Tweet
