hematite- still giving me headaches

I found the hematite really effective a few weeks ago, but now when I use it- it works very quickly and gives me a headache and makes me feel nauseaus. Is that the crystal eliminating the negativity- maybe bringing it to the surface or is it that the crystal isn't right for me.
