Re: Lactose intolerance related to liver functioning?

No...lactose intolerance means that you lack the enzyme necessary to digest milk sugar. This is different than a milk allergy or sensitivity...which involves an immune response to the proteins in milk. Many people confuse these conditions...if you take lactaid and that relieves the problem then you have lactose intolerance...but if lactaid does nothing to help...you have an allergy or sensitivity...which may or may not benefit from liver flushes. Keep in mind that milk creates a lot of mucous in the body...regardless or intolerance or allergy.
