Re: Wieght loss Thread#1

I'm not looking to change my whole way of life. I'm just looking to lose wieght, and attempt to keep it off. I know that I'll have to change my eating patterns afterwards a little. The thing is that all other diets have failed me. I ate carrrots, white meat with no fat, low or non-fat foods on a daily basis for 4 years and my weight would yo-yo a little. In the last 6 months my wieght sneaked up 20 lbs. I'm not obese. I'm looking to lose about 40lbs max. I'm 6'2 and started the diet at 224lbs. I figured that the diet would alter my matabolism a little, but I thought that the cayanne pepper and surup were supposed to trick you body into thinking that you were eating, and were supposed to keep your metabolism up, to a certian extent.

So what should I do, quit because your saying I'll gain weight again? I'm currently a little frustrated, and I just want to lose weight. I thought that I'd try the b&P shakes, just for the heck of it, seeing that I was doing everything else, to be healtier for now, but I'm not looking to change my life right now and become a health nut.
