From what I can tell, I don't think the sonicare uses the reverse polarity principle, but I could be wrong. I only pulled up one sonicare website. It looks like it is a good product. It looks like it uses speed to get rid of the plaque. I wonder what sonicare and ionic would do for one's teeth? My husband has been using both his electric toothbrush and his ionic one, but we did not see the improvement in his breath until he started using the ionic toothbrush.
