involuntary eye crossing

Hi, I'm new here, came in search of some help. Last week, I had a very weird experience. I had a sudden uncontrollable crossing of the eyes which lasted 3-5 minutes and was witnessed by a co-worker who freaked out. Along with this, my blood pressure shot up to 180/120, my pulse was over 100, I got extremely flushed and hot. It took about 15 minutes for my BP and pulse to level out to a normal range. Later I got a dull headache at the base of my head, it didn't last long. The next day I felt extremely washed out, and haven't felt all that well since then.

I went to see my internist who thinks I had a seizure. I have had an MRI of the brain just waiting on the results. She wants my neurologist (who treats me for my migraines) to order an EEG when I go for my appointment this coming Friday. One of the surgeons I work for witnessed part of this event, and he also thinks I have had a seizure. I've never had a seizure before, so I'm a little unnerved by this.

Does anyone know of the proper medical term for involuntary crossing of the eyes? I'd like to do a search on it and see possible causes.

Thanks, sorry it's a bit long.
