It can be very relaxing.
I put either 2 tblsps. powdered ginger in or make a pot of fresh ginger tea, Let it steep about 15 mins. and pour in anywhere from 1-3 cups.
Depending on how much you want to add.
I recommend you start of slow and increase, after each time.
I have added up to about 4-5 cups of steeped tea to a bath.
I don't really think more means better.
Just be careful and drink plenty of fluids before and after the bath and sip water in the bath if you want.

Some people just don't seem to sweat all, but it is still beneficial, because it releases toxic waste out of the system.
Don't do it too frequently, you could overtax your system and could detox too fast and get sick from it.
