i'm no financial genius, but something about this recent "tax refund advance", or whatever they want to call it, is striking a cord. i mean, if people with families are receiving a sort of advance on next year's tax refunds, then won't it really piss people off if they end up having been "over-refunded" and end up having to return the money (which they've probably already spent at that point), or even pay out a higher tax based on this year's advances. my guess is, the people to whom this will happen will think bush is an idiot (which he is) and election will be just a few months away. as much as i hated this idea in the beginning, i'm starting to think it'll work to our advantage in the end. am i way off base here? calling all CPA's.
