Thanks for the info Tera. Yep...pancreatitis wouldn't be very nice - my worst fear with gallstones. I'm guessing your parents must have had a stone stick in the common bile & pancreatic duct, as I don't think there is any other way that Gallstones can cause pancreatitis, although I'm not sure. If that's how it happened, I imagine it probably came on pretty suddenly. It's good they didn't suffer too much damage. Did you succeed in getting pregnant? And after the gallbladder removal, did your digestion return to normal?
