Now your bile just drips into your intestines instead of collecting in your gallbladder and waiting for some unsuspecting fat to come along.

My understanding is that after surgery bile salts are taken at meals in place of the natural bile from the gallbladder. I really don't know, just going on what I've seen here and there. Pretty much all health food stores have it, I imagine your druggist has it as well. You might try calling him as a source of background info.

Talk to your doctor, I'm really surprised that you haven't been informed. Have you told him about your problems? If he can't help you, you might want to look around for a doctor who can.
