Re: ulcerative colitis(crhon's disease)

I think tons of research will someday show us that what we are calling Chron's disease and ulcerative colitis may actually be 3 (or many many more) different diseases instead of 2. For some people it is severe allergies no doubt causing their trouble. Other people it is definitely NOT allergies at all. The names of these diseases is such a huge blanket name for such a complicated mass of symptoms. When people say cutting out certian foods healed them I believe them. When people say they live off an IV and are still sick, I believe them too. We are all very different and I think have very different diseases. If you can have a dozen different things wrong with the heart then why not with the guts ?
I 've had problems since age 6. At 14 it was bad , at 18 I was told I would die. At 24 it just healed up and went away. At 33 it returned and I'm getting some relief from avoiding things I'm allergic too. Not total relief, not healed, just alittle better.
