Re: A doctor's story
Dear Dr. Iain,
Thank you so much for your post. It was well written and easy to understand for the layperson which is always appreciated!! I have current severe MS which you mentioned twice in your story. I am hopeful for good results as well. My question is what do you as a doctor recommend to an MS patient and at what dose? I began on A*******e powder and after one month was taking 4 tsp. a day. I started to feel badly with noticably worsening of symptoms of weakness in my hands, arms, feet, and legs. I got scared wondering if this was from the A*******e or just MS rearing more of its ugly head. I e-mailed my distributor who informed me that I was going through detox, I was sicker than most so I would need more of the A*******e to get any effect and he suggested 8 tsp. a day!! While this all may be true the distributor is a mortgage broker by career and has no basis for diagnosing detox and/or 8 tsp. a day! The bottle itself says 1/4 tsp. twice daily.
How much should I take considering advanced MS cervical disease?
Is there an amount that is not safe?
Is detox a real issue with some people?
You have no idea how much I would appreciate any information regarding dosing. I want to take the Ambrtose with confidence and I want my fantasy of no more lesions on MRI to be a reality!!!
Thanks so much.
Sharon
