It is for someone who has had a transplant years ago and is now sick from other causes. You would think that if these sugars are needed in our diet then they shouldn't cause a rejection problem, it's like saying you can't eat vegetables because they might boost your immune system and reject the transplant, so my thinking is that they would be okay, at least not in excessive amounts. Anyone else have a view on this?
