Does anyone know anything about Renal cells?

Hi,

I am working with someone who has kidney cancer and as I understand it the cancer cells are somehow very different than other cancer cells. He is currently taking glyconutrients but has many questions because renal cells are involved.

How are the renal cells different?
Will the glyconutrients work as well, better, or not as well as with other types of cancer cells?
