A*****ose.....there is nothing to it.

the more i think about A*****ose, the more i come to realize that there is nothing special about it. in other words it is incredibly easy to duplicate. The (2) gums --ghatti (aka Anogeissus latifolia ) and tragacanth can be ordered online for a $0.60/lb. (yes, 60 cents per pound). however, there are plenty of substitutions for it and tragacanth.

When i first heard about this product i assumed that the sugars would be in their free-form state like N-A-G. is that the case? Of course not -- that is way too expensive. it is far cheaper to call up india and order 2000lbs of gum ghatti for $1200 and end up selling it as part of a formula whereby the guma ghatti now fetches a price of $6,600,000. Yes people that is correct --- based on my estimate of 1/40th of lb of gum ghatti per 3.5 oz jar of A*****ose.

Roughly, they spend about $6000 for the bulk ingredients which then provides them with $6,600,000 dollars worth of sales revenue. But that is the way business works. if you can do it then you do it. Tweet
