My skin glows with youth!

I had my gallbladder removed about a year ago ... and I, too, have gained 10 to 15 pounds since. I have tried everything ... low fat/low cal diet, the Atkins' Diet, and I have regularly exercised. All to no avail -- I cannot shed these pounds. Why?
