Surgery or not?

Hi- anyone with uc had surgery? I am considering it- but very scared! Any comments on surgery would help- I may be having the j-pouch surgery in 2 steps, having the outside bag for 3 months- which I am very, very scared to have. I have had uc for 6 years and no meds have worked. I have always & still now am taking prednisone- so I have osteopenia. I just got married and I must have children- I will do anything to have healthy kids. So whatever I have to do to get rid of this uc- I will. Anyone with any suggestions, I would appreciate them greatly! Thanks! Tweet
