Would taking a Phenergan before the flush effect my results?

Hi all----it was so heartwarming to read all your comments to my post "Depressed About Gallbladder Situation...". It is nice to know others out there care. After much thought, and dealing with this 24-7 constant nausea that nothing seems to help---I have gone ahead and scheduled a HIDA scan with CCK for day after tomorrow. My osteopath strongly encouraged me to do it 2 months ago, but I wanted to try natural methods and herbs first. He says this test is very accurate in determining what the percentage of function a person's gallbladder has. I am about at the end of my rope here, folks. I am sure many of you would not do a HIDA scan, but truthfully, I know a few people who had galbbladder symptoms and just "lived with it" and then ended up with life-theatening pancreatitis, my Mom being one of them. Her gallbladder was infected and gangrenous and on the verge of rupture when they removed it---they showed us the stones and they were all black as coal---the doctor said that they were very, very old and had been there "forever". To me, not a very pretty picture! I have this image of my malfunctioning gallbladder sitting in my body, poisoning my whole system, gradually. I feel sluggish, no energy and have developed black circles under my eyes in these last two months. I cannot enjoy eating, playing with my grandkids, sex, nothing anymore, and it is hard to get through the work day. So----I will have the HIDA scan Thursday to see what gives. I read all of your comments and am going to try some safflower oil and try a "small" flush this weekend----I was planning to take a PHENERGAN for nausea first---would this effect my results, do you think? Thanks again for all the help and advice. God bless......
