Dude,

Yes, I have indeed had the honor of talking to an MD about mastic gum.

MDs familiar with H. pylori treatment studies know that even with triple Antibiotics the success rate is only around 75%, causing another round of a different set of triple Antibiotics . Not good.

There are H. pylori treatment studies posted on the web that you can read and print out and bring in for your doctor's perusal. I think that many if not most doctors will let you give this a try. It's far cheaper, it doesn't have the side-effects that Antibiotics do, and it seems to be at least as effective as antibiotics.
